Swim Team Tryouts
While knowing the different strokes is not a requirement of swim team participation, being able to swim the length of the pool without touching the bottom or the lane lines is required.
Swimmers who have not participated on Brookfield's swim team previously will need to tryout for swim team on Monday, May 11 at 4:30 p.m. This will give our coaches the opportunity to assess swimmers to ensure they can swim the length of the pool unassisted, which is a requirement of participation on swim team, as well as assess their strengths and areas for improvement.
Because the ASA fees paid at the time of registration are non-refundable, it is advised to wait until after tryouts to register your swimmer. However, ASA fees will be increased at this time.
