Brookfield Barracudas

Register online by Friday, May 1 to ensure you receive your desired size for your swim team t-shirt. While we will accept registrations until Thursday, May 21, we encourage you to register as soon as possible. Late registrations will put swimmers at a disadvantage as they will miss out on valuable team practices. You will also incur increased ASA fees.

While we do not require a minimum age to enroll in swim team, it is important that your child be a strong swimmer who is comfortable in the water and able to swim the length of the pool without assistance. If you are unsure whether your child is a candidate for swim team, it is always best to speak with our head coach before registering him/her. All 6 and unders as well as swimmers new to the Barracudas are required to try out for swim team. See the Registration tab on our team site for more details on this.

ASA LEAGUE FEE

Registration with the Atlanta Swim Association (ASA) is required for all swimmers. This is a separate, non-refundable annual fee. This fee covers the coordination from the league to set-up meets, refs, insurance, etc. This is a part of the registration process through Swimtopia, and no further action is required on your part once registration has been completed.

If registered before April 15, the ASA fee is $50. If registered between April 15 - June 1, the ASA fee is $70 per swimmer. If registered after June 1, the ASA fee is $75 per swimmer. All registrations will also incur a Swimtopia fee of $3.50 per swimmer.

Fees for the ASA Championship are TBD as Georgia Tech is in the process of increasing their rental fees for the facility. Swimmers are not required to pay this fee at the time of registration, and our head coach will discuss participation in the ASA Championship with families throughout the season as the ASA releases information. 

CANCELLATIONS

Refunds of the team fees listed above will be given for swimmers withdrawn for illness or other family circumstances. The refund schedule is as follows:

• 100% of team fees refunded before May 1, 2026.
• 50% refund will be given between May 1 through May 11, 2026.
• Refunds exclude the registration fee, ASA fees, and Swimtopia fees listed above these are non-refundable.

Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and sent to the Barracudas' team.
